**In This Role You Will**

**Customer Service**:

- Greet guests with a genuine smile and warm welcome.
- Provide exceptional guest service and answer menu questions.
- Ensure a positive dining experience and act in the best interest of guests.

**Order Taking and Cash Handling**:

- Accurately take orders and process transactions using a POS system.
- Collect payments, make change, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
- Communicate order details and special requests to kitchen staff.

**Food Preparation and Service**:

- Prepare and serve food items according to A&W recipes and standards.
- Assemble food items and prepare produce for toppings.
- Perform fryer and grill duties and serve beverages based on operational needs.
- Perform minor food prep tasks like cooking or portioning fries.

**Operational Support**:

- Maintain fast service during busy periods.
- Keep work areas clean and organized; restock supplies.
- Follow food safety regulations and perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing tables and chairs.

**Team Support**:

- Work as a team with coworkers to deliver outstanding guest experiences and achieve service times.
- Assist in training and orienting new team members.
- Promote a respectful and inclusive team environment.
- Foster positive working relationships with managers and coworker

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Legal working age and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the restaurant industry, is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Capable of lifting up to 22 kg and standing for extended periods.
