**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a reliable, experienced and hard-working climbing arborist. This arborist will lead a crew on pruning and removal projects. Responsibilities include:

- Climbing: Safely ascending trees for the purposes of pruning and removal, avoiding damage to targets.
- Client Education: Explaining the scope of work as well as the scientific basis for the approach to a particular project.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
The following are essential prior to training:

- 2 + years of climbing experience;
- A high school diploma or higher;
- A chainsaw operation certificate;
- A G driver’s licence or higher as well as a personal vehicle; and

The following are assets but not essential:

- ISA certification;
- Bilingualism;
- A degree in arboriculture or forestry; and
- First Aid certification.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
