General Labourer

Pay Rate: $18.00 + /Hour

Job Title: General Labourer

Location: TireStor East and/or South Location

Position Summary:
As a TireStor General Labourer, you will be working in the Automotive industry primary facilitating the delivery of seasonal tires to clients within the city and surrounding area.

Job Duties:

- Loading and unloading of tires into truck.
- Unloading and delivering tires to assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Operate delivery truck.
- Maintaining daily driving logs.
- Drive to destinations in a safe, responsible, manner and in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations.
- The ability to work independently.
- Checking in with customers at each designated drop off and serving as a TireStor representative.
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Cleaning and sweeping of warehouse.
- Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Physical ability to lift, unload, and carry tires repetitively.
- Physical ability to lift weight up to 75 lbs.
- Physical ability to maneuver loaded pallet trucks over a variety of inclines and surfaces.
- Physical ability to stand and walk frequently and be able to drive for a significant period of time.
- Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
- Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances at accounts within assigned territory.

Skills & Experiences:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- G Class Ontario driver’s license an asset but not required
- Previous automotive experience or knowledge of tires an asset.
- Knowledge of CVOR checks an asset.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
- Ability to operate software programs and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow all established procedures and regulations.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is preferred.

Required License or Certification:

- G Class Ontario driver’s license
- High school or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass company driving test and background check

Pay Rate:
$18 +/Hour for General Labourer

$19 +/Hour for Drivers responsibility

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: Up to $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
