We are looking for a Heavy Packager Associate to join our team in FreshPoint Vancouver.

Reporting to Packing Supervisor, the **Heavy Packager **will be responsible for re-packing of produce orders to small pack sizes. This includes lifting large pack orders and boxes to place them on work stations for counting and sorting, accurate weighing of products to ensure piece count requirements are met, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the packaging work stations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurate piece count of produce
- Re-pack of raw material from large size to small size packages
- Maintain cleanliness of packaging workstations and areas
- Comply with SOPs, GMP and Safety policies
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Job Requirements**:

- Completion of high school diploma
- Previous experience in a food distribution or food production environment considered an asset
- Good communication skills and ability to read and comprehend SOPs, GMP and Safety Policies
- Prolonged standing and continuous lifting of up to 30+ lbs
- Must be available on statutory holidays

**Location**: 1020 Malkin Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6A 3S9. (Accessible to multiple bus lines).

**Schedule**:

- 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday
