**JOB OVERVIEW**
The Finishing Department Member plays a critical role in the sanding and painting of HCK kitchen cabinets. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards by performing various finishing tasks, including inspection, sanding, painting, packaging, and other final preparation activities. The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Thoroughly inspect products for defects or inconsistencies and ensure that they meet the company's quality standards.
- Operate the sprayline / spay booth for painting of products to achieve the desired finish and meet specifications.
- Sand, buff, and clean surfaces to prepare them for final finishing processes.
- Regularly clean and maintain finishing equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.
- Work closely with other team members to coordinate efforts and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a finishing, manufacturing, or similar role is preferred but not required.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to use hand tools and finishing equipment.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and handling products up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs].
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
