**About the Role**:
Our Health Care Aides are vital members of the care team, providing essential support that enhances the well-being and quality of life of our clients. Using a compassionate, client-focused approach, you’ll help create a safe, supportive, and comforting environment for those facing health challenges.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with transferring, positioning, and mobility
- Support clients with medication reminders
- Assist with simple wound care and basic health education
- Plan meals and support specialized dietary needs
- Guide and assist with therapeutic exercises
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care
- Offer companionship and emotional support
**Requirements**:
- Availability for shifts that range in length
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current and clear police check with vulnerable sector screening
- Excellent physical health
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Health Care Aide certification and active registration on the HCA Directory
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with commercial insurance

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
