As a growing business, we are seeking a dedicated **Livestock Associate** to join our team.

**Position Overview**:
As a Livestock Associate at Pro Aquarium, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of our diverse range of aquatic life. This position requires a passion for the aquarium hobby, strong customer service skills, and an interest in staying informed about industry trends.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Livestock Care**: Ensure the health and well-being of freshwater and saltwater fish, invertebrates, coral, and aquatic plants in the store.
- **Customer Interaction**: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, offering expert advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- **Inventory Management**: Regularly update and maintain the online livestock listings and in-store inventory (training provided).
- **Industry Trends**: Stay current on the latest trends, advancements, and developments in the aquarium industry.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- **Educational Outreach**: Participate in educational initiatives to share knowledge and foster enthusiasm for the aquarium hobby.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in the marine aquarium hobby is required.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to observe and meet the specific needs of various freshwater and marine species.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to learn and stay up to date with new industry trends and technologies.
- **Team Player**: Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
- **Physical Stamina**: Comfortable performing physical tasks related to aquarium maintenance.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
