Toronto, Canada Long Term Care Home Full time

**Qualification**:

- Individuals who have successfully completed Food Service Worker training program recognized by the Ministry of Health and long-term care
- Successful completion of a food handler’s course offered by the local public health department.
- Past experience as Dietary Aide in Long Term Care Setting is preferred.

**Skills**
- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with residents

**Requirements: Proof Required**
- Vulnerable Sector Check, not less than 6 months old.
- COVID Vaccination: 3 dose plus Booster.
- Must be able to read, understand, write legibly and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Must have open availability; be able to work weekends, early mornings, days and evenings**

**Responsibilities**:

- Compliance with all provincial long-term care regulations and established dietary department policies and procedures.
- Assists in the preparation and service of beverages, menu items, snacks/nourishment's and caterings as assigned
- Assists in receiving and storing incoming food and supplies
- Follows proper food handling techniques
- Assists in dish and pot/pan washing and storage including the taking/recording of dishwashing temperatures.
- Keeps work area, clean, sanitary and uncluttered, and completes scheduled cleaning duties.
- Sets and cleans dining room tables
- Is knowledgeable about, and practice facilities fire safety and emergency programs.
- Maintaining a good attendance record in accordance with company policies.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $20.30 per hour

**Experience**:

- dietary aide: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Service Worker certiication (preferred)
