**Job Overview**
MUST be able to work in person in Invermere, BC
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and seasoning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to food service or meal preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential for maintaining a safe cooking environment.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
