**Maintenance Aide - 6 Month Contract**

The maintenance aide will report to the Environmental Services Manager. You will be tasked with performing maintenance duties such as electrical, plumbing, building upkeep.

**Responsibilities**
- Repair damaged walls, painting of resident rooms and common area space
- Complete all routine fire and other preventative inspections on a scheduled basis and ensure appropriate record keeping.
- complete all routine inspections of lighting and change bulbs as required
- Repair residents’ equipment such as beds, chairs, lighting etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to perform required physical duties which may include bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for extended periods of time, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying boxes, tools and equipment.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID - 19

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $19.96 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
