**YOUR MISSIONS**:
We are looking for our client, a residencies management company on the island of Montreal, a payroll and benefits technician to join their team. The latter will have the mandate to perform the following tasks:

- Complete payroll processing and management
- Update their knowledge related to legislative changes in the payroll process as well as various external programs (employment insurance, CNESST, etc.);
- Open, update and file employee files (paper and computer);
- Provide information to employees on payroll issues and certain fringe benefits;
- Collaborate on the audit file for the end of the financial year;
- Produce various reports in Excel;
- Support the General Managers in time sheet approvals and everything related to the payroll process;
- Collaborate with the human resources department as needed;
- Follow up on the group retirement savings plan (RRSP) and other company compensation program;
- Participate in the pay equity maintenance program;
- Perform any other additional tasks as needed.

**YOUR PROFILE**:
Think this job is for you? This may be the case if you have:

- Completed a DEC in administrative techniques or a DEP in accounting or have equivalent training;
- Three (3) years or more of payroll experience is essential;
- Knowledge of the EmployerD payroll system is an important asset;
- A very good knowledge of computers and appropriate software is essential;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel software is essential;
- Knowledge of Emprez software is an asset;
