**Job Summary**

**What We Are Hiring For?**

We are currently hiring a **Renovation / Maintenance Handyman **to join our growing team. This role is best suited to individuals with skills and experience across multiple trades and construction techniques, as well as a strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

**Main Duties**:

- Renovations, Repairs, Tenant Improvements
- Millwork / Carpentry repairs and installation - Baseboards, trim, cabinets, countertops
- Windows and Doors (Interior and entry)
- Light demolition work
- Drywall repairs and installation
- Interior and exterior painting
- Variety of other trades and related work (i.e. light framing, basic electrical and plumbing)
- Removal and replacement of specialty finishes (i.e. blinds, medicine cabinets, other fixtures)
- Interact with clients and customers in a professional manner
- Daily tracking of hours, work performed, safety and other site observations as required, using work provided tablet or smartphone
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a construction or maintenance field
- Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required
- A high level of energy and enthusiasm is required for this position
- Must have the ability to interact in a professional and confident manner
- Active listener, critical thinker and able to meet tight deadlines
- Must be confident using a smartphone or tablet
- Must have a personal vehicle and valid drivers license, mileage compensation for using personal vehicle for work purposes. Having a truck is an asset
- Flexibility on working hours
- Renovation experience is an asset

Wage based on experience and ability to perform a variety of tasks thoroughly, confidently, and without instruction

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
