**YOUR MISSION**

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled field service professionals based in Canada and USA, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction and growth via on-site coaching, mentorship and supervision.
- Assisted by the field service coordinator, oversee and schedule field service activities, coordinating resources and equipment to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional solutions, maintaining positive relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies, guaranteeing a secure and productive work environment.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
- Assist in the development and execution of training programs for field service professionals, keeping them up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the development of service strategies, helping to drive innovation and enhance our competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, engineering, sales, and customer support to streamline processes and improve overall customer experience.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and executing on field service opportunities while maintaining a good control on costs and efficiency.

**ARE YOU THE ONE?**

**Required Education, Experience and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven field service management experience (5+ years); Preferably in the electrical power generation industry or equivalent.
- Demonstrated best in class leadership abilities with a clear track record of effectively leading and motivating field service teams to achieve market differentiated performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and electrical (CSA/NFPA/UL) regulatory codes and standards
- Understanding and ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics & mechanical drawings
- Understanding of industrial control equipment is an asset for this role (metering, protective relaying, relay ladder logic, Programmable Logic Controllers - PLCs and HMI’s)
- Experience with switchgear or Automatic transfer switch would be an asset.
- Familiarity with NETA/NICET in electrical equipment testing would be an asset.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is a must.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel in Canada and USA on a frequent basis is required.
