**What you'll be doing**:

- Maintain excellent customer relations; call on existing accounts in assigned territory, identify and call new accounts in territory.
- Complete and submit weekly sales reports.
- Perform belt and conveyor inspections.
- Inspect and recommend all service requirements on material handling systems.
- Maintain clear and frequent communication with branch personnel regarding latest customer information
- Complete job scopes & organizing service crews in conjunction with Sales/Service Supervisors
- Review upcoming work with Shop Foreman/Service Manager and Inside Sales.
- Frequent overnight/out-of-town travel is required in the performance of this role.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Industrial sales experience
- Proven record of sales achievement and excellence in customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, especially telecommunication
- Mechanical aptitude a must - Strong working knowledge of computers (MS Office, Outlook, Internet)
- Ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of customers, identify needs and sales opportunities.
- Attention to detail
- Strong prioritizing and self-management abilities
- Understanding of service fundamentals
