**Class 3 Waste Collection Driver - Calgary**

**Collective Waste Solutions** is hiring a full-time, permanent **Class 3 Waste Collection Driver** for our Calgary operations. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient collection of residential and commercial waste using waste collection vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Safely operate Class 3 waste collection trucks and related equipment
- Collect residential and commercial garbage according to assigned routes and schedules
- Load and unload waste and transport materials to approved disposal facilities
- Complete daily pre
- and post-trip inspections and required safety documentation
- Accurately complete work orders, logs, and incident reports
- Identify, assess, and mitigate safety hazards in the field
- Communicate regularly with the Field Supervisor
- Maintain high safety standards, productivity, and route efficiency

**Qualifications**
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake (Q) endorsement
- Class 1A license considered an asset

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience
- Previous residential and/or commercial waste collection experience required
- Strong safety awareness and route compliance
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of truck equipment
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Clear communication and spotting techniques
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive movement, and extended sitting
- Available for occasional extended shifts as required

**Additional Information**
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
