- Reporting to the Manager, ERP & Finance Application, the Technical ERP Analyst will be creating derived data sets in Workday that can be used by reports. As well as providing help in access security when required and in the monitoring of integrations.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other organizational tools and available technologies (BIRT, Java, web development a plus).-
- Develop and execute unit/system test plans; ensuring delivery of a quality product Partner with stakeholders (internal/external to Finance) to understand report/data requirements and ensure results meet the business needs.-
- Implement proof of concepts to confirm feasibility of requirements Work with technology/security teams to define and create calculation fields, security policies and other Workday objects to support the evolving reporting needs of the organization Troubleshoot report related issues and resolve issues in a timely manner Lead efforts to analyze and optimize report performance.-
- Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls.-
- Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting Finance reporting inquires/issues Manage development progress by tracking activity and publishing status updates Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday Reporting and best practices Actively participate in Workday Community.-
- Will be helping in security access when required by the Workday security specialist such as Create new security groups, configure and maintain existing ones for all modules; Modify domain and business process security policies for existing security groups; Create and maintain. proxy access policies in Sandbox (implementation tenants as well); Enable/disable functional areas.-
- Will be helping in the support of workday integration when required.- ACADEMIC TRAINING:
- A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and/or experience.- WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of Workday experience.-
- 5+ years of Financial Accounting, Operational and Analytical experience.-
- Some experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Prism Analytics Reports, etc.-
- Basic understanding of Stored procedures, SQL experience.- SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
- Extensive technical experience with Workday.-
- Previous involvement in Finance/Procurement is a plus.-
- Very familiar with SQL.-
