**Job description**

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and certified Auto Body Technician to join our busy ICBC Accredited Auto Body Shop in Surrey. The position is permanent and full-time (40 hours per week).

**Qualifications**

*Minimum 5 years previous experience in a Journeyman-level Auto Body Technician role

*Provincial trade certification & WHMIS

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Responsibilities**
- Review damage reports and plan work
- Remove damaged parts of vehicles and weld in new sections
- Repair damage to body panels and weld sheet metal
- Realign car frames and repair structural damage
- Repair/replace interior and exterior components
- Hammer out or patch dents and other minor body damage
- Other duties as required
- Have knowledge in Laser Measuring to put repairs into manufacturers specifications.
- Knowledge of both Pre and Post Scan of all vehicles for all repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Willing to Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to auto body work.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.

Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
