Head Bartender

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and support food service operations when needed.
- Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation practices.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
