HR Coordinator

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the administration of payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery.
- Manage employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on HR policies.
- Understanding of employment laws.
- Conduct employee investigations as required and assist with performance management.
- Assist with consistent health and safety standards to ensure safe practices are followed every day.
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Maintain and update employee records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Collect and analyze data for HR metrics to support decision-making processes.
- Coordinate employee benefits and ensure correct documents are processed.
- Collaborate with management on project management initiatives related to HR programs and policies.
- Support training and onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in Human Resource Management
- 1-2 years experience in Human Resource roles.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective employee relations and communication.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data accurately.
- Knowledge of human resources management principles and practices.
- Strong retail background would be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Baden, ON N3A 2N6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 1 year (required)
