Global Sourcing Manager

**Commodity Management**
- Lead all sourcing activities for assigned commodities including, but not limited to, developing sourcing strategies, developing supply risk mitigation options, and negotiations.
- Align with stakeholders to deliver supply assurance across assigned commodities.
- Review market trends and secure benchmark data for the assigned commodities and incorporate within sourcing strategies and execution planning.
- Execute accurate commodity spend analytics.
- Provide regular reporting to stakeholders to bring visibility on relevant KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement of established processes and quality.
**Cost Management**
- Drive RFQ/negotiations processes for assigned commodities including, but not limited to, developing negotiation strategies and plans, and lead such negotiations to deliver on NXP’s cost targets.
- Provide accurate spend reporting for actualized spend as well as short, medium and long-term forecasting within the assigned commodities.
- Propose opportunities for cost reduction via alternate sourcing and secure support from stakeholders to ensure timely execution of such alternate sourcing options.
**Supply Base Management**
- With input from stakeholders: identify, qualify, rank and select appropriate suppliers for assigned commodities.
- Manage and drive improvement of supplier performance by means of regular Supplier Rating Scoring for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service and Technology. Ensure establishment of a world-class supply base.
- Propose and align (with stakeholders) on supply assurance opportunities by means of risk management tool analysis and alternate sourcing.
- Build and sustain a network with people in relevant related business areas to ensure knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices.
- Build and sustain good relationships with suppliers to ensure that suppliers understand and support NXP’s needs.
- Act as a first escalation point if problems with suppliers occur and ensure adequate and swift addressing of such problems while maintaining healthy NXP/supplier relationships.
**Contract Management**
- Responsible for negotiating and implementing contracts, working instructions and guidelines for users on how to deploy contracts.
- Work closely with Supplier Quality Management on Quality Contracts for assigned commodities.
**Competencies**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Passion for hi-tech / semiconductor manufacturing industry. Having experience in the semiconductor industry is a benefit, but not a necessity.
- Able to analyze problems and data in a structured manner; able to provide solutions in a structured manner and then pursue timely completion of those solutions in a pragmatic fashion whilst maintaining open and honest stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communicator that is able to lead and present to a broad audience; having relevant experience of working in a global multi-cultural environment is a plus.
- Energetic, self-driven and hands-on problem solver.
- Strong business acumen, organizational agility and ability to successfully execute cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical skills (including Excel), communication, influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills internally as well as externally.
- Highly committed, being flexible and results-driven.
Preferably co-located with NXP’s fab in Chandler (AZ) and having flexibility to accommodate limited travel (internationally).
