**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform administrative duties, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with funeral directors to ensure that all arrangements are managed with precision, empathy, and care.
- Act as the primary point of contact for grieving families, offering compassionate support and addressing inquiries with sensitivity.
- Collaborate with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service delivery, maintaining clear communication at all times.
- Manage and maintain records related to funeral services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with funeral home and regulatory standards.
- Assist in scheduling services, visitations, and meetings, ensuring the funeral home’s calendar is up-to-date and organized.
- Uphold confidentiality and respect for the families we serve, treating all information with the utmost discretion.
- Occasionally assist with viewing arrangements and may handle cremated remains with dignity and care.
- Ensure all administrative tasks align with funeral home regulations, as well as the standards set by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO).

**Qualifications**:

- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Experience in funeral home administration or coordination is highly valued.
- Bilingualism is an asset (English/French preferred).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Emotional strength and ability to remain calm and composed while supporting grieving families.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
