Tool Room Lead Hand/obi Press Supervisor

Operate & maintain existing tool-room mills, lathes, surface grinder, wire EDM
- Maintain turret punch tooling, sheet metal power shear, CNC sheet metal brake tooling
- OBI Punch Press setup & supervision of press operators
- Maintain, repair, design & fabricate new OBI die sets (up to 30 ton) as required
- Assist clients in part design for feasibility & method of production (both stamped and machined)
- Advise management in quoting jobs as required, production methods & cycle times
- Advise management in selection & assessment of machine tool upgrades & replacement when required
- Train Press Operators on SAFE operation & daily maintenance of stamping equipment as well as part inspection during production.
- Verify part quality & quantity, generate packing slips & arrange shipping for completed jobs.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Journeyman credentials or equivalent experience (10 years) in metal stamping toolroom
- Wire EDM experience (program, setup & operate) 5 years minimum
- Able to read and interpret English language mechanical drawings & specifications
- CAD drafting systems (Autocad, Solidworks, Bobcad)
- CNC programming skills (G-Code, Mazatrol and other proprietary systems)
- Basic skills in metallurgy & heat treatment of tool steel (D2, O1, A2, W1)

Desirable Skills:

- Digital marketing & basic website maintenance
- MIG welding
- Oilfield & petrochemical control systems & downhole tools
- Industrial electrical maintenance

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
