**About the position**
We are seeking a Project Manager to work on the Centralized Cash Management (CCM) project on the Agency Operations Centers (AOC) Modernization Program within the Bank’s ITS Department. This program will replace obsolete processing equipment and critical IT and security systems as well as re-engineer operations processes in Montreal and Toronto. There are multiple stakeholders involved from Currency, Facilities Services, Corporate Security Services and ITS, as well as the need to carry out work that minimizes the impact to ongoing daily critical operations.

The main objective of the Centralized Cash Management (CCM) project is to work in collaboration with our vendor Cash Processing Solutions (CPS) to deliver a commercial off the shelf (COTS) inventory management system that supports the Currency department’s cash inventory management needs. As part of the CCM team, you will participate in the delivery of CCM Solution across multiple Currency streams. You will initially support the implementation of the first phase of the inventory management software, by supporting the transition to operations under the new DevOps support model. You will also participate in the oversight of the centralization of the other Currency inventory streams as part of the second phase.

**What you will do**

You will report to the Program Manager, Centralized Cash Management CCM, and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to identify, manage, and lead the project activities of CCM phase 2 and assess process improvements and support overall project solutions. You will lead the ITS implementation of the second phase of the CCM program in various stages of the project cycle and will be required to quickly learn the project scope, schedule, status, stakeholders and risks to effectively manage the projects and see them through to a successful completion.

More specifically, you will:

- Lead a project team in delivering solutions to clients on time and within budget. This includes overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule and contractual deliverables
- Develop project plans, prioritize and delegate work to achieve project objectives, assigning resources and ensuring the collaboration of other teams
- Provide advice and guidance to others on matters relating to Agile and project management practices and methodologies
- Lead and support the transition of operationalizing the CCM solution into a DevOps support model
- Work with resource managers to identify appropriate resources, manage their integration into the teams and provide performance feedback
- Manage project activities and deliverables with a focus on quality, delivering within time and budget targets while managing project risks
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
- Create a healthy work climate for project teams by providing clear direction, effective delegation of work and input to the project authority to support the professional development of team members

**What you need to succeed**:
As an experienced Project Manager, you are resourceful and well-organized, an effective communicator, team player, innovative problem solver, self-starter and change contributor.

Further, you have:

- Experience as an IT Project Manager including a solid understanding of IT service delivery and support processes
- Knowledge of project life cycle and Agile/Scrum best practices
- Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders including external partners

**Nice to have**:

- Previous experience working in a financial, banking, payment, or cash environment with similar systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or any other relevant certifications (ITIL Certification, etc..)
- Experience with data transformation initiatives (Big data, data warehouses, data lakes, etc..)
- Experience with Azure Data Services (or an equivalent cloud solution)
