Top-Bedding is looking for a logistics coordinator for its branch in Ange-Gardien, Monteregie.

The advantage of working for Top-Bedding is that we transport our own product, wood shavings, either in dry box, flatbed or in bulk trailers, from our plant to our agricultural customers. Thus, we have full control from our production up to the delivery.

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm or from 7am to 4pm.

**Salary**: According to experience (we are very competitive) $55,000 to $65,000/year
- Select and mandate the right transportation partner for each transportation request.
- Negotiate rates and choose the best option according to our needs and internal policies.
- Work as a team with dispatch, our plant managers, sale, and customers to coordinate transports according to requirements.
- Ensure full customer satisfaction by providing and respecting delivery deadlines and effectively solve challenges related to shipments.
- Follow up and effectively solve issues related to the scheduling or situations during deliveries with the carrier.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations (customs, loads & dimensions, and various laws & regulations in force).

**Required set of skills**:

- Bilingualism (English spoken/written is mandatory since most of the work will be done with our US partners).
- Experience in logistics (2 to 3 years minimum).
- DEP in Transportation Logistics, an asset.
- Excellent customer approach.
- Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
- Versatility and resourcefulness.
- Sense of responsibility and organization.
- Very good sense of analysis, observation, and judgment.
- Carries out tasks with rigor and precision.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of Canada and the United States (East Coast and Midwest).
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
