**Job Profile**:
The City of Cambridge is looking for energetic Fitness Instructors to teach a variety of fitness classes such as Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training, TRX, Barre, Boxercise, HIIT and or Personal Trainers.

Instructors will ensure participant experience is engaging, educational, safe and enjoyable experience in classes and programs.

**What you will be doing**:

- Your primary function, with a focus on customer service, is to plan, organize and deliver high quality safe and stimulating lessons for all levels of participants while being vigilant and ready to respond to any emergency situation.
- You will keep current with industry trends and class format and complete administrative duties in a timely manner (e.g. attendance, incident/accident reports).
- It is important to maintain a safe and tidy program space ensuring equipment is set-up and stored appropriately; attend meetings and training as required; and, report any concerns or issues to your supervisor.
- Participate in all assigned mandatory staff training

**Experience and Knowledge**:

- Certified by an accredited organization.
- Six months of previous related experience.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Please note that applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

- Current Standard First Aid (CPR-C)- High Five
- Principles of Healthy Aging**We will ask you for these items if you are hired**:

- Current and valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check to be provided prior to commencement in this position.- Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and/or educational qualifications.- Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)**Rate of pay**:
The hourly rate for this position will vary pending qualifications; however, will be within the range of $25.00 to $40.00.
