**Seasonal Driver - G Class**

Tire Hotel Inc. requires full-time seasonal drivers to work with our team in our Woodbridge, Ontario warehouse. We are a seasonal tire storage facility who delivers and picks up sets of tires on/off rims at dealerships located throughout the Oshawa, Ajax, GTA, Barrie, Kitchener, and London areas. As a driver, your responsibilities are to drive our truck to a dealership safely and using a tire dolly to unload sets of tires at dealerships from the rear of the truck, scanning tire labels at dealerships for accurate delivery using our tablet system. Loading complete sets that are to be returned to the warehouse and stacked neatly and correctly in the truck, scanning tire labels for the sets that are being loaded into the truck. Sets of tires are stacked 6 high and moved using the tire dolly from the truck to the dealership, safely using the tailgate and from the dealership back to the truck, and which may be stacked 8 tires tall inside the truck. Drivers must be able to lift/move up to 80lbs continuously throughout the day.

**Shift**:
Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays

6:45 am start each day (must be on road by 7:00 am), typically 8-10 hour shifts. Overtime as needed

**Experience**:

- G class license with 3-year clean driver history. Copy of drivers license and driver abstract dated within the last 30 days must be provided.
- Experience driving 26’ straight trucks with tailgate
- Experience driving in congested, high traffic areas and navigating tight spaces - training will occur to verify

**Requirements**:

- Safety boots
- Must be able to lift/move 80+lbs continuously
- Must be able to perform standing, squatting, walking with heavy loads
- Ability to use a tablet and scanner
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor of any issues that may arise
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain prompt and regular job attendance
- Ability to work in a faced pace environment
- Ability to navigate to destinations in a timely and effective manner

**Wage**:$25.00 - $28.00/hr - based on experience
