**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the MSW will provide social work service across the lifespan. They work in a variety of clinical areas, and _may_ include areas such as a school-based setting at Marine Drive Academy in Sheet Harbour, providing assessments and interventions for children, youth and families within a multi-disciplinary and collaborative mental health team. Experience in group work an asset. They will also work with Eastern Shore communities for a considerable portion of this role, including the catchments of the Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital (Musquodoboit Harbour), Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital (Sheet Harbour), and Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital (Musquodoboit Valley).

The Social Worker works collaboratively with community resources (HRCE school), tri-facility teams, agencies, and others where indicated.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized university required
- Current registration with the NSASW
- Two years clinical experience in a Mental Health setting required, preferably an outpatient service is preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents and families or adults in an outpatient Mental Health setting preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of community consultation/liaison experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously within the MSW scope of practice required
- Strong working knowledge of computers and most common systems required, including Word, Outlook, Virtual meeting platform(s) required
- NS Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required
- Competencies in other languages preferred; French an asset

- Long Assignment Part-time (90%) Position; 67.5 hours bi-weekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$36.04 - $47.38 Hourly
