**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and are eager to contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including the kitchen and dining room.
- Help with meal preparation and food presentation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
- Support other team members in various tasks to enhance overall restaurant efficiency.
**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Experience in cash handling and operating POS systems is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others in a busy restaurant environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is beneficial but not required.
