We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time **Junior Estimator **to join ourteam.

**The responsibilities for this position includes**:

- Review RFQ packages and determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
- Prepare material cost and fabrication estimates for projects. Check estimates for accuracy and review bid submittal documents and notes.
- Work with customers on site to assess and estimate project cost and scope.
- Review client drawings for accuracy and design for fabrication.
- Manager larger projects through fabrication process.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with client engineers, designers, fabricators, and other disciplines.

**Education, Skills, and Job Requirements**:

- A college or university degree in mechanical engineering or similar, or business degree, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or relevant steel fabrication related experience.
- Previous hands-on experience with steel fabricating, estimating, and detail drawings.
- Strong analytical, math, and computer skills.
- Proficiency with computer assisted drafting/design (CAD) is desired.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Knowledge of or experience in fabrication for defence, food and beverage, or environmental industries is an asset.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, and able to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
