**Heavy Equipment/Truck Supervisor**

**Job Summary**

Ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.

Well-versed in all maintenance processes, and undertake administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm - may be required to work Saturdays or shifts/weekends and/or evenings. Overtime is necessary during peak periods and when workload necessitates.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Approve, coordinate, oversee, prioritize and track all work conducted in shop/field.
- Manage negotiations with dealers and vendors.
- Lay out and estimate costs for submission of maintenance projects.
- Oversee and manage purchasing equipment and parts inventory.
- Verify, approve and complete work orders.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports.
- As necessary, respond to on-call and emergency situations.
- Set objectives, propose recommendations and oversee performance reviews.
- Instill lean principles for setup, and preventative maintenance.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Certificate 421A.
- 5+ years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance.
- 5+ years of Supervisory experience.
- Project a proud, positive, professional and respectful image at all times.
- Demonstrate skills in time management, planning and organization.
- Focused on delivering high levels of quality work and service.
- Excellent communication skills (English language), and well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate personnel.
- Well-versed in problem solving, decision-making capabilities, and execute multiple tasks.
- Solid business acumen and strategic business sense.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
