**Overview**

A primary care/family medicine collaborative practice in central Calgary NW is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. Position is 0.6 - 0.7 FTE (3 - 3.5 days a week spread over 4 days). Utilizing a unique business model, our physicians are able to provide care to a smaller panel of patients providing the best experience for both patient and provider. We provide a turn key solution for a family physician. Expected panel size of no greater than 200 - 250 clients pending FTE. If you are looking for a supportive, established practice and work/life balance this is your job Care is provided to an established panel of patients. Participation in a 1/4 call rotation is expected. Care is comprehensive to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive health, chronic disease management, and acute needs. This role requires a strong commitment to service, patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Expected length of stay would be at least 5 years or greater.

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups.
- Provide preventative care services, including immunizations and health screenings.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using AVA electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in research initiatives to advance knowledge in family medicine practices.

**Experience**
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
- Strong background in patient care within hospital environments is advantageous.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as AVA.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and research in family medicine practices.
