**_Hours: Full time hours Monday-Friday (occasional after-hours/ weekends as required)_**
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for overseeing the upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness of the Company buildings and grounds
- Maintain and optimise a structure for maintenance and housekeeping planning, project management and scheduling
- Responsible for ensuring that all company equipment and property is maintained, operational and in safe working order
- Plan allocation and best utilisation of space for inventory and equipment in buildings
- Conduct preventative maintenance audits and develop corrective action plans to address deficiencies
- Manage and lead projects to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Custodian supervisors in the hiring, orientation, mentoring and development of employees; collaborating with HR addressing workplace issues and disciplinary actions as they arise
- Provide overall leadership to the departments and establish a workplace environment that is engaging, safe and effective at producing results as determined by management
- Establish, track, and analyse supplier relationships
- Ensure all activities of the department are in compliance with policies, applicable local regulations, budgetary requirements, best practices, and the law
- Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
- Review and report on all departmental spending activities and monitor expenditures on an ongoing basis including budget reporting
- Report on and provide visibility to management on status of maintenance and housekeeping projects
- Responsible for responding to off-hours maintenance emergencies
- Responsible of the implementation of a CMMS (centralised maintenance, management system)
- Responsible for the historical and financial data tracking, Log books, major assets (Resto equip, Fridge, Hvac, UPS, Generators, Transformers, Fire suppression systems, Sprinkler control alarm panel etc.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in developing and operating budgets
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards (HVAC, Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.)
- Skilled in communication in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Skilled in planning, organising, analysing and coordinating activities and establishing priorities
- Skilled in problem solving and decision-making.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate in a cross-functional environment
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be considered an asset
- Solid computer skills, including Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets), excel and scheduling software
- Scheduling background
- Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays when needed
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check

- Responsable de la supervision de l'entretien, de la maintenance et de la propreté des bâtiments et terrains de la société.
- Maintenir et optimiser une structure pour la planification de l'entretien et de la propreté, la gestion des projets et la programmation.
- Veiller à ce que tous les équipements et biens de l'entreprise soient entretenus, opérationnels et en bon état de marche.
- Planifier l'allocation et la meilleure utilisation de l'espace pour les stocks et les équipements dans les bâtiments
- Effectuer des audits d'entretien préventif et élaborer des plans d'action correctifs pour remédier aux déficiences.
- Gérer et diriger des projets afin d'assurer une perturbation mínimale des activités principales.
- Collaborer avec les superviseurs de l'entretien et des gardiens pour le recrutement, l'orientation, le mentorat et le perfectionnement des employés ; collaborer avec les RH pour régler les problèmes liés au milieu de travail et les mesures disciplinaires qui se présentent.
