**Terms of employment**: Full time; Permanent Position; 40 hours per week.

**Available**:Onsite customer service, various locations (throughout Alberta)

**Wage**: $20.00-$30.00+ per hr based on experience plus overtime. 3 month probationary period.

**Duties**:
This position refers to working with commercial and residential gate openers/motors and access controls aka gate automation. Instrumentation is not involved.

We are looking for an individual who will compliment our positive work environment, has great ideas, thinks outside of the box, always is part of the solution, has great organizational skills and is a natural leader who takes initiative.

**Daily duties will include**:
Working outdoors to Install, maintain and repair automated Swing/Slide or Barrier gate components including gate operators (openers) and access controls (ie. keypads, etc) for commercial and residential clients while delivering exceptional customer service. Gate operators are powered by AC or Solar.

Inspect and test electronic & mechanical equipment and assemblies, diagnose component and equipment faults, adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies, complete work orders and maintenance reports. Installing conduit and wiring, trenching/shoveling and auguring are a regular part of the field technician's responsibilities.

Maintain a stocked and clean work vehicle at all times.

**Work Area**:Construction, “Installation “ Inspection, Maintenance, Repair, and Restoration - Commercial and Residential.

**Education**: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, good English oral and writing skills required to communicate with our customers effectively

**Work Experience**: 2 years minimum

**Location of work**: Primarily around the Calgary area, occasional work outside of town with advance notice.

**Language**: English
