This position will be part of our Printing Sector. As the largest printer in Canada & one of the largest in North-America, you will join a team that is committed to helping everyone excel and reach their goals. The Print division has over 4,500 employees & 18 state-of-the-art print plants.

**About this opportunity**
Under the direction of the Prepress/Creative Manager, this position is responsible for proof reading files and checking for quality and proper content. Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and adhering to the highest level of company standards.
- **This a one year contract position.**_

**What you will do**
- Review and evaluate art files for correct versioning, specific customer requests, revisions, technical accuracy and quality control checklist;
- Maintain various quality control checks for creative workflows;
- Create and monitor correct use of proofing and quality control documentation;
- Evaluate proofs for quality, content and technical accuracy; check against docket and versioning documentation;
- Assist with the development of a quality control program;
- Review problem jobs with Prepress/Creative Manager or Creative Supervisor;
- Provide possible causes and solutions to problems, when possible;
- Support designers and production with Quality Control verifications of files;
- Advise supervisor and coordinators of any delays due to projects errors;
- Redirect incorrect work back to designers or coordinators, however appropriate;
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

**What you have to offer**
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
- Related post-secondary education would be an asset;
- Minimum 2 - 5 years in a related work environment;
- An understanding and working knowledge of all printing processes (Litho & Digital printing);
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Fast learner and innovative thinker.
