Dental Receptionist

Duties
- Greet patients upon arrival and check them in for their appointments.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Logitech software.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries or directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy, ensuring all dental terminology is correctly documented.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries efficiently. Knowledge of insurance billing, co-payments, dual insurance billing for an assignment office
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal office operations.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, follow up with patients and insurance companies to collect outstanding amounts
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist. Minimum 4 yrs experience
- Familiarity with Logitech software paperless.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the team and with patients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with front desk operations and administrative duties is required.
