We have an temperary position opening for a hair salon Receptionist.

We are located in downtown Oakville and would love to have you join our Award-Winning Salon.

This position would suit someone with exceptional telephone and organizational skills, with outstanding customer service experience and someone who has a long-term career goal within our company.

The person we are seeking:

- Has an exceptional telephone manner with fantastic organizational skills, able to coordinate the running of the salon and the ability to multitask
- Has excellent communication skills
- Will work well on your own as well as part of a team our team
- Has a friendly, positive, professional personality and demeanour
- Is confident with retailing and promoting products
- Is computer literate
- Is self-motivated
- Is punctual, honest, reliable
- Has experience with booking systems

This position is required to ensure that the highest standards of hospitality are demonstrated at all times.

Key responsibilities will include answering the phone, booking appointments and answering general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the salon which includes helping out wherever needed.

Please note some evenings and all Saturdays are a must. Shifts will be 6-8hrs

**Qualifications**
- Excellent organizational skills to manage salon appointments efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
- Prior experience in customer service roles preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic math for cashiering duties
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Familiarity with retail sales and upselling techniques

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
