Foreman Sewer

Alfidome Construction Niagara is a Unionized Civil Contractor operating since 1979. We specialize in Private & Municipal Civil Infrastructure Projects throughout the Niagara Region. We deal with Road and Sewer/water Construction, excavation, site servicing & demolition.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Directs and coordinates crew members and subcontractors on site
- Ensures labour, equipment, materials and sub-contractors are on site when necessary in order to perform the work.
- Ensures materials, equipment and labour are utilized most efficiently and effectively.
- Read plans, survey grade sheets and grade stakes.
- Supervise and inspect work to ensure all specifications are met.
- Performs daily, weekly and monthly safety meetings and inspections.
- Monitor and record daily activities and productions.
- Order materials and supplies in advance.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- A minimum of five years’ experience in the sewer and water sector, with a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work unsupervised and lead work crews
- Coordination with subcontractors, suppliers and owners
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Possess the ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
- Knowledge of line and grade surveying
- Possess good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Health and Safety training.
- Possess the ability to cope with extremely busy and stressful worksites.
- Be detail oriented.
