**Summary of **Position**

Reporting to the site Foreman, this position will assist all field personnel to perform all water and sewer activities in a safe and efficient manner.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Dig trenches in preparation for pipelayers
- Load and unload tools, equipment and materials
- Mix, pour and cut concrete
- Operate industrial equipment and hand tools
- Perform manual and physically demanding labour as assigned
- Setting up trench shoring
- Signal and direct equipment operators
- Direct traffic as required

**Qualifications, Training and Education**
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided
- Class 5 Driver’s license
- Confined Space Entry/Monitor
- Fall Protection
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015

**Working Conditions**

A labourer is responsible for performing physically demanding work in different positions (kneeling, standing, etc.). They are working outdoors in dusty and underground environments through all kinds of weather
