Position: Financial Advisor

Who we are:
Basic Financial Services is a firm of experienced and knowledgeable professionals who build and assist in the implementation of comprehensive financial plans using a client first approach. We provide a full range of finical solutions with a focus on Financial Planning, Investments, Insurance and Taxes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Client-facing, you would service clients assigned, and enhance client services
- Create financial plans, retirement projections and personal financial statements for clients of the firm
- Strong focus on Client First Financial Planning
- Lead clients through our goals-based discovery process
- Identify planning opportunities for clients
- Presenting the plan and assisting clients in implementing planning, investment, insurance, and tax recommendations (with support from Sr. Advisor if necessary)
- Servicing the clients
- Communicating frequently with clients in order to ensure adherence to the plan and revisions when necessary
- Answering questions from clients about planning related matters
- Stay current with industry and financial planning concepts through continuing education
- Contribute in other ways to client and team success

**Skills**:

- Client centric and passionate about financial planning
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Must be personable and able to build trust with clients
- 1-2 years of client facing financial industry experience
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Zoom, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards collaborating, growing the business, and ensuring optimal client outcomes

Education / Accreditation Requirements:

- MFDA Licence
- CFP® Designation or working towards the CFP®

Compensation:

- Base salary $60,000 - $80,000
- Bonus component based on the firms overall metrics
- Growth opportunities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
