Are you interested in learning the painting trade? Paint prep is the position where most painters started

We are looking for one (1) or two (2) reliable, trustworthy people for new construction spray prep

Part-time leading to full-time depending on production schedule needs

Duties would include:

- Masking windows & ceilings as needed using paper masker
- Fill nail holes & sand casings/baseboard/railings
- Dap casings
- Setting up & sanding doors for spray
- Keeping site clean & organized
- Masking casings after spray
- Pole sanding walls
- Priming walls as needed

Personal tools required:

- Paper masker (can be provided for training)
- Dap gun
- Olfa knife
- Small putty knife or 2
- Step ladder

Transportation is necessary as we work mostly on new homes & renovations all over the city

Starting wage $18/hr for entry-level training. Wages can be discussed based on skills & performance

Demonstrated speed, knowledge, accuracy and consistency will be reviewed for advancement/raise after 3 months.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
