Lot Attendant

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Lot Attendant to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the vehicle lot. As a Lot Attendant, you will assist with managing the inventory of vehicles, parking, and maintaining the overall appearance of the lot.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Vehicle Management**:
- Park, move, and organize new, used, and service vehicles within the lot.
- Ensure proper vehicle placement to maximize lot space and improve efficiency.
- Assist in preparing vehicles for customer viewings and deliveries.
- **Lot Maintenance**:
- Keep the lot clean and free of debris.
- Monitor lot security by reporting any suspicious activity.
- Maintain proper signage and labeling to ensure smooth traffic flow and ease of access for customers.
- **Vehicle Condition Checks**:
- Conduct basic visual inspections of vehicles for any damage or issues.
- Report any vehicle damage or discrepancies to the Sales Manager.
- **Customer Service Support**:
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle directions or inquiries (guided by OMVIC standards and policies).
- Support the sales team in preparing vehicles for test drives and showings.
- **Inventory Control**:
- Assist with inventory audits and ensure vehicle records are up to date.
- Help with the receipt and inspection of incoming vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle advertising including but not limited to; detailing, photography, loaners and service demos etc.
- **Safety & Compliance**:
- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies while performing daily duties.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly parked and secured.
- **Online Vehicle Pictures**:
- Responsible for taking and uploaded all new and used vehicle photo's to the website.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with vehicles is an asset but not required.
- **Skills & Abilities**:
- Ability to operate vehicles safely, including manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- **Physical Requirements**:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
