We have a job opening for an experienced Industrial Blaster to join our Field team.

**Duties**:

- Provide masking and protection of sensitive or delicate equipment.
- Abrasive blast welds, structural steel, piles and other carbon steel equipment
- Inspect equipment for cleanliness and damage and clean and/or repair equipment as required.
- Maintain safe working conditions at all times.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety standards and practices as well as Global Fusion HSE practices and policies.
- Troubleshoot blast equipment if there is a malfunction.
- Advise Field Supervisor of any problems/delays in the process.
- Complete general work area clean-up and organization.

**Working Conditions**:

- Be able to work locally and out of town
- Working knowledge of large industrial abrasive blasting equipment, including plunger and pressured pots.
- Must be able to lift 25 kg.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Valid drivers license with a clean abstract is considered an asset

**Qualifications**:

- Good communication skills (verbal and written) and working knowledge of English
- Positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
- An effective team player participating in end of shift clean up to ensure a clean and tidy work area
- Attend and participate in morning meetings; have a good knowledge of all company safety programs procedures, use of workplace PPE and adhere to all of these
- Safety training certificates such as CSTS-09, WHMIS15, and H2S Alive are required; Fall protection, EWP, Confined Space, and First Aid considered assets. Training can be provided for this.

**Salary**: $20.00-$37.95 per hour
