Marijuana Budtender

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and their effects will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized assistance in selecting cannabis products.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of various cannabis strains, products, and their effects to offer informed recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Educate customers on responsible use, dosage, and product information to enhance their experience.
- Upsell additional products based on customer needs and preferences to maximize sales opportunities.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked with merchandise.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to restock shelves or manage inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and uphold company standards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment is preferred, showcasing strong customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers effectively.
- Familiarity with Excel or similar software for inventory tracking is advantageous.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse clientele.
- Strong leadership qualities to guide less experienced staff when necessary.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for inventory management tasks.
- A passion for cannabis culture and a commitment to educating customers about products responsibly.
- Must be at least 19 years of age or older as per local regulations.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
