**Overview**:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Processing at SNDL in Olds, AB, the Processing Technician is a member of the Production Team responsible for producing and packaging various extract products.

**Scope of Role**:

- Prepare the rooms for production activities (setting up the extraction and filling equipment, as well as the production material)
- Operate the solventless equipment, the filling of vapes, the packaging of concentrates and other extraction-related activities
- Quick, efficient, and accurately run the extraction, filling and packaging processes, ensuring compliance with provincial/federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Manual labor including weighing, lifting, transferring of oil/concentrates and packaging
- Transport of oil and other concentrates between production environments in a sanitary fashion
- Accurately document all work performed as directed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records as per Good Documentation Practises (GDP)
- Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices
- Participate in processing sanitation or production rooms, including appropriate disposal of plant materials
- Monitor and participate in various production activities
- Re-stock and organize production area and packaging material as required
- Prepare/build totes for packaging and shipping
- Willingness to maintain an open mind and learn new techniques
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Grade 12 or GED
- Post secondary certification/diploma/degree in horticulture or plant sciences is an asset

**Required Competencies**:

- Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality and teamwork
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time along with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with strong attention to detail
- Capable of following strict processes and procedure, with the ability to work with mínimal supervision quickly and accurately
- Experience working within a highly-regulated environment
- Flexible to work in other areas of harvest and trim
- Experience in general labour, logistics, manufacturing or warehouse is an asset

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

- 8 hour shift
