Strategic Builder Inc is currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Construction Site Superintendent to an individualwho desires a creative and dynamic work environment that offers potential for professional and personal growth. What you can expect in this role
- Coordinate all on-site activities of sub-contractors and suppliers, provide construction decisions, and solve conflicts with sub-contractors and inspectors, and inspect quality of work.
- Schedule and report on all inspections, develop and maintain communication with project building officials and inspectors.
- Identify and present recommendations regarding project risks including safety/loss control and implement and manage company safety program to include inspections, toolbox talks, documentation, and reporting.
- Supervise all site staff and assist the Project Manager in areas of management and plan/modify construction schedules.
- Develop key processes and systems to accomplish speed, quality, and cost reductions across the entire project cycle.
- Plan, organize, direct and control construction projects in collaboration with the Property Management department from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budgets.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules.
- Direct the purchase of building materials.

What you can bring to Strategic Group
- Technical Degree in General Carpentry.
- Five (5) years of experience in wood-frame construction.
- Education and certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) measures
- Intermediate to advanced skill with Outlook, MS Word and Excel
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and set priorities to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Ability to understand and adhere to operating procedures and practices.
- Demonstration of professionalism through appearance and overall conduct
- Openness and willingness to communicate and respond to the needs of the company, its people, projects, and clients in a positive, professional, and supporting manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer service focus.
- Results-oriented with a desire to learn and support new developments.
