**Job Overview**

**Important Information**:
**Duties**
- Assisting homeowners & landscapers with the selection & purchase of plant material based on their specific requirements.
- Merchandising of products including plants, shrubs, trees, pots, and fountains.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery environment to company standards and customer expectations.
- Processing of customer purchases in an accurate, efficient and friendly manner.
- General customer service (purchases, returns, loading vehicles, answering phones, and product knowledge).
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Working with other departments as requested.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient nursery operations.

**Requirements**:

- Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Sound knowledge of trees and shrubs as evidenced by work or home gardening experience is required.
- Retail experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A background or interest in gardening is highly desirable.
- Flexibility availability, must be required to work weekends.
- Steel toe boots/shoes are required.
- Physically fit in order to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for up to 8 hours daily.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
