Logistics CoordinatorThe Logistics Coordinator is responsible for finding the most economical and reliable solution to get our goods anywhere in the world and coordinating the various stages of transportation, while respecting deadlines and the safety of goods and people.
Responsibilities Prepare customer orders for shipment and customs procedures Prepare shipments via UPS/FEDEX/DHL Collaborate and build strong relationships with customers, carriers and representatives regarding transport by air, ocean, import and export of products to enhance the customer experience Ensure that the contracts with the various supply chain stakeholders are detailed and accurate Communicate with suppliers to confirm details for pick-up Maintain all transportation data including sea/air and ensure timely update of information Track and trace shipments, research and resolve issues related to billing or shipping anomalies, communicate the right information at the right time to customers and suppliers Communicate logistics processes/rules within the company in a clear manner Identify and communicate situations where packaging may require special design, appropriate materials, well specified rules and quantity limitation depending on the nature of the product and according to the international regulations in force Support the team to ensure performance, replace colleagues

Skills and Competencies Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment and where priorities change Contribute to a positive team spirit Organized, self-starter and meticulous individual Customer service oriented Problem solving abilities Intermediate to advance knowledge in MS office Bilingual, French/English - spoken and written
Experience and Training 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the transportation field DEC or AEC in international business, transport logistics or relevant experience Experience in direct import and export
