**Job Title**: Caregiver

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team and provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, offering companionship, and ensuring their overall well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in caregiving, particularly in dementia and hospice care.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- Familiarity with assisted living and senior care environments.
- Experience in patient care, including medication administration and meal preparation.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to working with individuals with disabilities.

**Skills**:

- Experience or knowledge in hospice care, dementia care, nursing homes, assisted living, or home care.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion.
- Proficient in caregiving techniques and understanding of patient care protocols.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
