Hammonds Plains, Canada Creative Kids Education Centre Full time

Creative Kids Education Centre is a regulated child care facility with with Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

We offer summer day camp programs during July and August with an established lunch menu. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided for all children and lunch is provided to all toddlers, preschoolers, and to school age campers who have ordered.

Duties would include preparation of snack and lunch foods, baking, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, some washing up. all following Public Health guidelines and the Dept of Education & Early Childhood Development's food and nutrition guidelines.

This would be a great opportunity for a student in a culinary course or recent graduate looking to gain experience.

**Own Transportation** is a must as the facility is not on a public transportation route.

The position is for July and August with the potential to extend into a permanent position.

**Summary**

In the role of a Food Service Worker, you will be integral to the daily operations of our kitchen, reporting directly to the Director. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. With your core skills in meal preparation, you will contribute to delivering high-quality meals.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in food preparation, baking, and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to efficiently serve meals and manage food service operations.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and the food industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
