**85 working hours per week (2 shifts)**

**Over 50 highly skilled shop workers, including CWB-certified welders**

Move material using overhead cranes.
- Operate Laser Table
- Drill holes using hand drills and drill press.
- Punch holes using iron worker.
- Clean welds, rust and sharp edges using hand grinders, die grinders, etc..
- Assist fitters in assembling parts for fabrication.
- Shop and yard maintenance.
- Ensure and support safe work environment and practices through good housekeeping and following all safety procedures according to Ministry of Labour requirements. Specifically keep all work areas clear of debris.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Summary**

As a General Labourer in a Steel Plant, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of production lines. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, with core skills in welding and manufacturing. You will report to the Production Supervisor and be expected to maintain safety standards while performing various tasks related to steel processing. *If you have any experience operating the Laser Table, please highlight this on your resume.* Your ability to work collaboratively and adapt to fast-paced environments will be essential. Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
